About Lauren
Hi, I'm Lauren!
I'm in my first year of a Primary Education degree at university and enjoy teaching children of all ages.
Maths can be a tricky subject for some children, especially in primary school. It was somethingI struggled with all the way through primary school, but with the help of tutors I was able to improve my confidence and knowledge in maths.

I will find methods of teaching that work to the needs and understanding of each individual child, while focusing specifically on areas that they are struggling the most with.
Lessons are typically 1 - 2 hours long, which mimic those of school lessons.
I will also try my best to tailor lessons to work alongside what is being taught in school.
As a Primary Education student as Portsmouth University, I will use the knowledge and skills acquired from lessons and placements to create a productive (and more importantly fun) lesson for children.
