About Victoria
As an experienced primary school teacher of over 20 years and tutor of 18 years, I now teach in a special needs school, working with children up to age 18.
I have had many positive reviews from parents, delighted with their child's academic progress and their increased confidence.
My experience includes teaching Reception to Year 6 in large London primaries, small village schools and special needs settings.

One-hour lessons for any primary age.
Learning is not always about sitting down and writing, although it can often feel like that at school. As a tutor, I love being able to teach in the best way for the child.
I know only too well, with my own children’s needs, that one size definitely does not fit all. I therefore spend time understanding a child’s interests, abilities, struggles and goals, before planning relevant and meaningful lessons.
I firmly believe that anyone can love learning and succeed to the best of their abilities, as long as they are taught in a way that is meaningful and appropriate to them. I am very much in favour of pre-teaching and can work with your child’s school to teach a concept before they learn it in class – an approach that greatly increases confidence.
