About Erin
I love learning and teaching just came naturally to me. I am patient and caring, and I don't give up easily. Having said that I know that learning isn't always easy and as a child I found it really hard too.
Sometimes learning isn't just about being able to recall something like a multiplication fact, or how to spell a word, it's about having the confidence to try something new and do something hard. That's where I come in. Not only do I work on learning but we will work on confidence, developing skills and resilience.
I've taught for over 18 years in a wide range of classrooms. I have a PGCE in Education, a Post Graduate Diploma in Primary Education and a Post Graduate certificate as a Mathematics Advanced Skills Teacher.

I like to make learning interesting, hands on and as real as possible using your interests to teach the knowledge you require. I think learning should be enjoyable and like to use games, songs, hands on activities to help learning stick .
I have over 18 years of teaching experience and have taught Year 6 for over 12 years.
I offer lessons from 45 minutes to 90 minutes and am happy to tutor anyone who is accessing the Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 curriculum.
I have extensive experience working with SEN, SEMH and EAL children.
