About Callum
Working in the private sector of education has allowed me to plan and prepare lessons that ensure progress is made and confidence is built. My philosophy is always based on enjoyment and engagement. If my students are engaging in the learning and having fun at the same time then I know progress will be made. I am someone who will make learning fun and have a laugh along the way, using humor to support parts of lessons. Building confidence is the most crucial part of the puzzle. Building confidence and resilience when it comes to learning is something that I believe is imperative for progress! I will ensure you grow and develop that confidence as we share our journey together.

My lessons include a mixture of kinesthetic learning based on the learners needs. I will ensure I always adapt the learning based on the learners understanding. Most importantly I ensure that all lessons are planned for progress and fun! Lessons include a mixture of intervention based work that highlights area for improvement. Worksheet based learning to reinforce understanding and games that link to the topic of study. However it will always be tailored to the needs of the student. I will always be honest in lesson and ensure you feel comfortable with feedback.
