About Mike
With over 15 years of dedicated experience in primary education, I am a highly accomplished primary tutor specialising in delivering the complete national curriculum across all core subjects, including English, Mathematics, and Science. My extensive background encompasses teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, allowing me to tailor learning strategies precisely to each child’s developmental stage, learning style, and unique academic goals.
Throughout my career, I have successfully guided hundreds of students to achieve exceptional academic progress, boost confidence, and excel in key milestone assessments such as SATs and 11+ entrance exams. My teaching methodology bridges foundational subject knowledge with creative, engaging problem-solving techniques, turning challenging concepts into accessible, enjoyable learning experiences.
I pride myself on building a warm, supportive, and stimulating environment where young learners feel empowered to ask questions, embrace challenges, and cultivate a genuine, lifelong love for learning. Whether a child requires targeted intervention to close learning gaps or advanced stretch-and-challenge tasks to reach their full potential, I provide bespoke, result-driven tutoring that fosters both academic excellence and personal growth.
