About Xingyu
Princeton M.Arch graduate and NYC-based architectural designer with a background in architecture, stage design, and visual storytelling. My work explores narrative-driven and cross-disciplinary approaches to space, with interests in landscape, performance, installation, and experimental architecture. I enjoy helping students develop portfolios that are not only visually strong, but also conceptually clear and personally distinctive.

About myself: My background combines architecture, stage/scenic design, installation, and visual storytelling. Currently work in New York and specialize in conceptual and narrative-driven portfolio development.
I help students with:
1. Architectural portfolio critiques
Graduate school applications (my previous students have been admitted by UPenn, University of Columbia, etc.)
2.Portfolio sequencing and storytelling
Graphic layout and visual identity
CV and personal statement development
Interview preparation
My approach focuses not only on making projects look polished, but on helping students develop a clear design voice and strong conceptual direction.
Software experience includes Rhino, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and rendering/representation workflows.
