About Prithvi

Music has been a part of my life since I was three years old, and it's shaped who I am today. The joy of playing the piano, the thrill of creating melodies, and the satisfaction of mastering a piece—these are experiences I cherish deeply. Over the years, I've realized that music is not just about notes and rhythms; it's a language of emotions, a way to express oneself, and a means to connect with others on a profound level. What truly inspires me is the opportunity to share this gift with others. I believe that everyone has the potential to make music, and I'm passionate about helping my students unlock that potential. Teaching is not just about imparting knowledge; it's about inspiring confidence, nurturing creativity, and making learning enjoyable. Seeing my students grow, develop their unique styles, and gain the confidence to express themselves through music—that’s what motivates me every day. Music has given me so much, and I’m committed to giving back by sharing my knowledge, experience, and love for the piano with you!

About the lesson

My Teaching Techniques & Methods: 1. I focus on a personalized approach, adapting my teaching methods to suit each student's learning style and pace. 2. Emphasizing a balance between theory and practical application, I integrate Western music theory with hands-on keyboard practice- theory concepts like reading writing notes, note values, articulation dynamic markings- practical application like learning songs- Hindi and English, South Indian- Western classical pieces, jazz standards etc 3. I employ innovative techniques like ear training, improvisation, and interactive exercises to make learning engaging and effective. My Class Structure: 1. Warm-Up: Each session begins with a brief warm-up, focusing on finger exercises and scales to build dexterity. 2. Theory & Concepts: I introduce and explain key music theory concepts, linking them to the pieces students are learning. 3. Practical Application: Students practice playing, with a focus on technique, expression, and musicality. 4. Feedback & Q&A: The class concludes with constructive feedback and a Q&A session to address any questions or challenges. What Sets Me Apart: Experienced Educator: Over 3 years of experience teaching at Artium Academy, guiding over 100 students from across the globe. Certified Expertise: Trinity College London Electronic Keyboard certification backs my knowledge and skills. Student-Centric Approach: I’m committed to making each lesson enjoyable, ensuring that students not only learn but develop a genuine love for music. Children above age 06- School students, college students, adults working corporate jobs, everyone is more than welcome:)

The best quality of Prithvi Sir is his patience . Also he has got some amazing skills to explain music to kids in their own context by giving examples which they can relate to . What amazed me is his patience to explain and confirm if my 7yr young daughter has understood the previous lesson before proceeding to the next . Prithvi Sir has lot of patience, he also has tricks to make difficult problems easier for kids . My daughter was 7 years and it was difficult for a kid of her age to understand . In every class Prithvi sir ensured if she had understood and practied the lessons before . If not he everytime made it a point to make her understand before proceeding without getting tited . He also makes a point to explain the feel behind scales and chords apart from the theory . Over and above is a very humble person and a really geart musician .
