About Jiuri

Ms. Yu is a Boston-based violinist. She earned both Bachelor and Master degrees from the Boston Conservatory. As a multi-musician, Jiuri is an active orchestra musician, a concert performer, and also an experienced educator. She is currently a regular member of the Cape Symphony, Glens Falls Symphony, South Carolina Philharmonic, and York Symphony Orchestra. As a performer, Jiuri has made her appearances in Carnegie Hall, Sanders Theater, Jordan Hall, Koger Center for the Arts, Garde Theater, and Appell Center for the Performing Arts.

As a music educator, she is currently a violin instructor at the Key Notes School of Music and Maestro Musicians Academy. She has recently found that teaching young children gives her great joy, especially dealing with the complexities of personalities as they arise and the challenge of motivating and molding young minds.

Encouraging, motivating, also with tremendous patience!
