About Prof Dr Franklyn

I have been an English teacher for more than 23 years and I've used neurolinguistic methods (I graduated in NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming in the University of Cambridge / UK) and coaching methods as well (I'm certified by the IBC Institute - in Professional & Self Coaching) using all those tools for intellection, so those tools provide a fast, innovative and personalized learning, ideal for each student; as running the classes according to the rhythm and the necessity of each student, so we can say that the hole English Course is developed in customized methods for each one. During this journey, as we know very well, technology has proved to be the best tool in order to transform the relationship between students and getting people to learn a new language, so I've used them as well. In addition, I graduated in Cambridge University (UK) in Language and Literature and I'm also certified by the British Council (UK), so I obtained Certification in the main preparatory exams for all levels, including for teaching English teachers: CAMBRIDGE CELTA - CERTIFICATE IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING TO ADULTS; TESOL - TEACHING ENGLISH TO SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES; TEFL - TEACHING ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE; IETTP - THE INTENSIVE ENGLISH TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM. Nonetheless, I am also Certified in the most important British English Language Exams: CPE - CERTIFICATE OF PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH; CAE - CERTIFICATE IN ADVANCED ENGLISH; TOEFL - TEST OF ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE; FCE - FIRST CERTIFICATE IN ENGLISH. In addition of being an English Teacher, I am also a lawyer and I graduated the Master Degree (M.D.) in "Comparative American Law" in Washington University in St. Louis / Missouri - USA.

About the lesson

During the Preparatory Course for Teaching English - I mean "Language and Literature" - and also the Certification Exams I was certified, I also had the opportunity of taking classes with Professors and many Authors of Consecrated Books currently used in English Language Exchange and English Courses as weel, all of those books are used in many serious exchange school or English School all over the world, so, as a graduated student of Cambridge University (UK), I've used them all in the classroom, so I've been able to absorb the maximum of those methodologies acquired in the University with those Professors and I've been teaching according to my entire Expertise acquired with those talent professionals about the correct didactics in intellection and teaching. I've lived in the United Kingdom (UK) mainly for studying by hard, and I've lived in the United States in order to take courses and learning the American accent, in addition I could get the opportunity to experience the routine and the culture of American people. In the United States, I had the honor and the greatest opportunity to teach English classes to Brazilian Immigrants who needed to improve their English urgently because of their work as a condition sine qua non to keep their jobs. During my career I've been a dedicated teacher, who loves my two professions of being an English teacher and also a lawyer, and I can say that as an English Teacher I keep studying English even though I've been an English Teacher for more than 23 consecutive years. I have a huge experience about teaching the English Language for different types of students - whatever their difficulties and needs, whatever their different levels of intellection (since one student from the basic level of understanding up to those advanced or fluent ones). I've used imported materials from Cambridge University Press, which are targeted and tailored to the actual needs of each student and all of those materials (I mean all of those books) have been used in any official and serious English school in the world. In order to get the best experience of learning English I apply the best English Test that I acquired its copyrights in order to check the exactly level of the student which allows an optical analysis of the exactly needs of the student about learning and also it is going to indicate precisely the best books and dynamics for the necessity of the student, and that is the moment the English course is personalized to my future students. The price of classes is calculated per hour / class according to my schedule and availability of schedules. I do not teach in group classes, therefore, that diversity or intellectual disparity, or different objectives, or event difficulty in learning, interfers in the development of the student, implying, necessarily, throughout the course, a demotivation of one of the students, so that's the reason I completly stopped teaching groups. In Jundiaí/SP, I am the only English Teacher registered at Cambridge University who uses 07 (seven) books in the classroom, some of those materials have being just launched by Cambridge University (Working with Exclusivity in relation to this particular Methodology), therefore, in addition to the dynamic, the course is really developed for the individual need of the student, focusing in conversation, supplying each difficulty that students have at different levels, using the most appropriate books for an absolutely complete dynamic and methods. Before the beginning of classes, as I've said, the level test will always be applied beforehand. Also, as I said before, I just teach private/individuals classes, 100% focused on conversation, or at my own law office, with all appropriate structure for student intellection; or "online"; paying attention that I only teach according to my availability. As I mentioned before, all classes are focused on conversation, using neurolinguistics, coaching methods and the five essential elements for assimilation and learning English: (i) conversation; (ii) hearing; (iii) writing; (iv) reading and (v) grammar. Finally, the question everybody does: How long does the English course take? Well, that's the question all students ask, and my answer is alwayes very simple: It depends on each student. I'd say that 75% of learning depends on dedication itself, plus true interest and motivation of the student, but other 25% depends of the work undertaken by the teacher in the classroom. Therefore, in this equation, the commitment of each student varies, which also varies the performance, progress and duration of the course, in different levels.

Excellent person and professor. Professor Franklyn really knows the grammar and he is able to transmit his knowledge in a very simple way. I was a beginner when I met him and I had just a few classes which were essential for my learning process.
