About Kuámasi
My formal music studies began at an early age at the Pedro Nolasco Colón Music School taking classes in theory and solfeggio, several years later I took guitar as my main instrument and I saw private guitar lessons with Venezuelan musicians like Álvaro Segura from Zapato3, among other teachers.
As a composer I have worked for Venezuelan cable television and some children's and youth theatre plays, in my role as a music producer I have worked in several musical projects of the rock and electronic scene in Caracas, as a promoter of culture I have given workshops on musical self-management and I have worked as manager of musical projects. In my performance as a musician I have been a member of well-known bands that released albums like Silfo, Cerouno, Autopista Sur. I am a founding member and member of Los Humanoides, a band with which I keep up with my solo project (self-titled Kuámasi) with which I have also published several albums. Since my arrival in Buenos Aires, I have returned to work with old and new friends such as Tan Frío el Verano and El Otro Borges. For several years now and because of my link with electronic music I started to give workshops about the management of Ableton Live as an important tool to make music and keep track of it, these workshops evolved to private classes that adapt to the need of each person and regardless of the genre of music you want to make.
