Methodology
I feel that in order for a modern musician to succeed, the most important aspect is to learn the foundations of music theory, groove, and technique. As an instructor I would hope to instill this knowledge on aspiring musicians. I will teach you a wide variety of valuable exercises, as well as expand your knowledge of theory and of your fretboard. Learning tunes, working through transcriptions, and writing/ recording on your instruments are also something I find very important for modern musicians, and I would love to work on those skills with you!
Background
My background includes 10 years of being a musician, including professional level touring, gigging and recording. I pride myself on being able to learn music quickly and effectively, as well as executing arrangements in a live and studio setting. I feel that in order for a modern musician to succeed, the most important aspect is to learn the foundations of music theory, groove, and technique. As an instructor I would hope to instill this knowledge on aspiring musicians.

At the moment, I do mostly freelance work with artists; however, my main project for the past few years has been with an artist named Charlie Burg. Through this, we have recorded and released multiple bodies of work, as well as touring and gigging North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia . I've worked with a wide variety of other artists as well, playing shows and recording music spanning many different genres. This has taught me that versatility is another incredibly important aspect in being an effective musician in the modern age.
