About Efaz

Hi, I'm Efaz – your friendly and engaging Science and Maths Tutor!

I am currently a First Year Medicine student at King`s College London.

Having recently completed my A Levels with top grades in Maths and Science, and achieving 8s and 9s in my GCSEs, I bring up-to-date knowledge and a deep understanding of the subjects I teach. Over the past five years, I've enjoyed working with several primary and secondary students, from various backgrounds including SEN students, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals.

I know how hard studying can be and that's why I can offer the best advice on how you can succeed.

About the lesson

Hi,

My approach to tutoring is both engaging and effective. I start by introducing each topic with clear, detailed explanations, ensuring that each concept is understood thoroughly. I then demonstrate how to tackle questions related to the topic and provide ample opportunities for students to practice independently, offering guidance and clarifying any doubts. To further challenge students and prepare them for the unexpected twists of exams, I often include stretch and challenge questions that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving.

My teaching style is designed to create a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel confident and comfortable. I believe that fostering a growth mindset is key to achieving academic success, and I strive to make each lesson both informative and inspiring. Therefore, outside of lessons, I make tailored lesson plans and provide lesson reports after each lesson.

Whether you're looking to strengthen your foundation or aiming for top marks, my recent experience with various exam boards and advanced coursework, such as the Salters (OCR B) A Level Chemistry, equips me with the skills to help you excel. I’m committed to using proven strategies to help you improve significantly and achieve your best results.
