About Stephen

Sensei Steve is a 6th Dan black belt in Zen Shin Seicho Do karate with over thirty years’ experience. He has won two world titles, five silver medals and five bronze medals as well as four national titles and is recognised by the CMAA, the EBA, WEBBS, BMABA and IOMAS. He is fully licenced and insured, Covid-19 safety awareness trained and certificated, DBS clearance checked and has first aider certified. His Moon Tigers Karate club is proud to be accredited with the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts awarded by Sport England, giving parents added peace of mind when choosing a martial arts club for themselves and their children. Private Tuition

Private lessons for individuals and semi-private lessons for small groups are offered by Sensei. Whether you're looking to focus on certain aspects of your training, learn the syllabus more quickly, prepare for an up-coming grading, hone your skills for a tournament or learn self-defence techniques, a lesson plan can be made to accommodate your needs.

Private lessons are £60 per hour with a maximum of four participants where the cost can be shared. (Subject to availability and bookable as regular sessions).

Private tuition is also available via ZOOM, should you prefer to train in the privacy of your own home. Please contact us for further information and pricing.

Street Safe Seminars #dontbehelpless

Sensie Steve offers all the traditional martial arts combat strategies and self defence techniques, applying them to real world situations.

'Streetsafe - Streetaware' seminars can be offered for schools, youth and community groups, available across London, Surrey and Kent. Equip your family with the skills to protect themselves if faced with a threatening situation.

About the lesson

Our training programme is invaluable to children’s physical and psychological development, promoting educational success and for adults, our training, in addition to the importance of continued health and fitness, will challenge creativity, enhance leadership skills and social accountability. Individual classes are available or up to four in a group to spread the cost.
