About Gili
I offer personalized math tutoring for students in elementary through college levels. With years of experience as a math tutor through Mathnasium and a science educator at several Alachua public schools, I focus on building confidence, problem solving skills, and true understanding, not just memorization. Each lesson is tailored to your pace, goals, and learning style. Whether you need help catching up, preparing for exams, or deepening your understanding, I bring patience, clarity and structure to every session. I work with students of all ages and backgrounds, including those with math anxiety or learning challenges.

My lessons are built around understanding, not memorization. I use step-by-step modeling, guided practice, and questioning strategies to help students develop problem-solving skills and math confidence.
A typical session begins with a brief review, followed by targeted practice and real-time feedback. I adapt each lesson based on the student’s learning style, whether visual, verbal, or hands-on. What sets me apart is my ability to explain concepts in simple terms and adjust pacing as needed. I’ve worked with students from elementary school through college, including those with learning differences or test anxiety.
Whether you're in pre-algebra, calculus, or preparing for standardized tests, I create a calm, clear, and structured space to help you succeed.
