About Kumiko
I have taught elementary school as a Japanese immersion classroom teacher for over 25 years in Eugene, Oregon. I have taught many songs and planned school wide annual music performances for the public.
I graduated with a B.A in Piano Performance from Musashino Music Academy in Tokyo, Japan.

I teach students of all levels from beginner to advanced. Private piano lessons are typically 30 minutes in length and the cost is $30 per lesson.
In music theory lessons students learn how to read music notes. They practice reading and playing rhythm, and sing and create simple melodies.
