About Simon
● N1 ranked junior in Europe u16 (2020)
● 5 years of Davis Cup National Team experience
● 15 years of Tennis Experience
I grew up in Montenegro, where I started playing tennis at a young age and eventually became a member of the Montenegro Davis Cup team. Tennis brought me to the United States, where I now play Division I college tennis for UH Manoa, while studying Finance. Before transferring to UH I played 2 years for UIC in Chicago, and had great success there. I have competed internationally and have experience coaching players of different ages and levels in both Montenegro and Chicago.

Simon has the perfect mix of intensity and fun during practices. You always leave the court better than you came in.
As a beginner and a girl who never held a tennis racket before, I was nervous, but Simon made tennis fun and easy to understand. He kept the lessons structured but relaxed. You can tell he’s experienced not only as a player but also as a teacher.
Simon is a high-level player I had the chance to spar with back in Montenegro. When I found out he was teaching in Chicago, I immediately recommended him to friends. He has both the skill and personality to be a great coach.
I came across Simon when I was looking for a hitting partner in Chicago. From our first session, I realized he knew exactly how to adapt to my level as a beginner. He’s patient, encouraging, and explains everything clearly.
