About Abbey
Hi, I'm Abbey. I have been working in education for the past ten years, in both alternative and traditional environments. In addition to working as a tutor, a high school classroom teacher, and now an administrator, I also develop systems for academic re-engagement and barrier identification.
It is important to me to not only help you through your courses/exam prep, but also to get to the root of what has gotten in the way and seek long term solutions/strategies to maximize your success. Currently, my re-engagement system is being utilized in an alternative high school in Colorado and a K-6 school in Kalikot, Nepal.
My educational background is in Psychology and Intercultural Studies (BA, Summa Cum Laude). I love learning and am constantly reading. I look forward to meeting you! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
