About Alex
I've been teaching since I was a child myself! Helping out with gymnastics classes as a 14-year-old, I fell in love with teaching and have since taught many sports and subjects over the years in several different countries. I take pride in my patience and ability to adapt to different learners and their needs, as I believe everyone deserves the support to reach their best and be proud of their skills.

Hi all, I have been tutoring, teaching and coaching since I was a child myself, from maths in the UK, to gymnastics in France, to leadership mentoring in America. I'm a patient and engaging tutor, having worked with children with special needs, foreign nationals, and bright sparks. I like to teach in hour-long sessions, to give the opportunity to introduce a topic, teach it, practise it, and finally challenge on it. I can teach up to GCSE maths, having received an A* at A Level myself, and chemistry all the way to A Level and beyond, having achieved a 2:1 Master of Chemistry degree from Durham.
