I mainly do 1 to 1 lessons, homework help and subject specific lessons in my experience students are more receptive when the tutour is close in age , my style is more usually based around the curriculum but I’m more than happy to help with specific topics upon request, as a every student is different I like to adjust my approach depending on the student, whatever it takes to see results
