About Nancy
I have been teaching Hatha Yoga since 1985 and am Certified through The Himalayan Institute of Yoga and Meditation in Glenview and Palatine, Illinois. I have taught thousands of students in many public and private settings over the years. My specialty is private lessons/sessions where I can design a personalized Yoga workout routine for each individual. I am very experienced at adapting Yoga poses for people of all ages and abilities.

My teaching method is based on several styles of Hatha Yoga that I trained in— Himalayan Institute, Kripalu, Sivananda, and Iyengar. I studied with world renowned Yoga expert Lilias Folan .
Each private session lasts for one hour and consists of warmups, a variety of strength-building and flexibility postures, breathwork, as well as a deep relaxation segment.
