About Priyanka

I believe that the early years of a child’s education are the most important — and the most formative. The confidence, curiosity, and love of learning that a child develops in primary school shapes not just their academic journey, but who they become as a person.
I have seen firsthand how the right support at the right time can completely transform a child’s relationship with learning. A single moment of “I get it now!” can spark a lifelong love of a subject. Equally, I know how quickly a child can fall behind and lose confidence when they don’t quite grasp a concept in a busy classroom setting — and how hard it can be for them to ask for help.
That is why I want to tutor. I want to be that extra, patient voice that says “let’s try again, differently.” I want to give every child I work with the individual attention that a classroom of 30 simply cannot always provide. And I want to do it in Maths, Science, STEM and Computing — subjects that I believe are fundamental to preparing children for the world they are growing up in.

For me, tutoring is not just about grades or test results. It is about building a child’s belief in themselves — and that, to me, makes all the difference.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Priyanka, an online primary tutor based in Reading, UK. I hold a Master’s degree and have a genuine passion for making learning exciting, accessible, and meaningful for young children. I specialise in Primary Maths, Science, STEM, and Computing for children in KS1 and KS2, and offer general primary support across the curriculum. These are subjects I truly love — and I believe that enthusiasm is contagious! My goal is for every child to leave each session feeling more curious and more confident than when they arrived. Why Maths, Science, STEM and Computing?
We live in an increasingly technology-driven world, and I believe every child deserves an early, positive relationship with these subjects. Whether it’s learning to think logically through a maths problem, exploring how the world works through science, or taking their first steps into computational thinking and coding, I help children build skills that will serve them for life — all in a fun, pressure-free environment. My approach
As a parent myself, I know how much it matters for a child to feel safe, seen, and supported during learning. I tailor every session to the individual child — their pace, their interests, and their learning style. I use interactive tools, visual aids, and real-world examples to bring concepts to life and keep children genuinely engaged.
