About Alice

I am an artist working in London. I have a BA in Illustration from Falmouth University, a post graduate diploma in Drawing from The Royal Drawing School and an MA from City and Guilds Art School. I currently exhibit my work in London and internationally.

About the lesson

I teach practical drawing and painting skills and techniques with a focus on working from observation. These skills can be the foundation for a great variety of art practices.

I have taught a wide range of people from primary school children, students applying for art scholarships to secondary school, GCSE and A-level students and students creating a portfolio to apply for university as well as adults just wanting to enjoy and improve their drawing and painting skills for fun. In addition I have extensive experience working with students with learning disabilities.

Depending on what you are interested in we can work in watercolour, acrylic, drawing materials, oil or printmaking (without a press)

I like to let your interests to lead the classes and will show you artists and techniques that I think will be interesting and relevant to your work.

If you chose the 'at home' option the classes will be held in my studio in Greenwich.
