About Seth
I have been playing guitar for 25 years, and teaching and gigging for 23. My students have gone on to play gigs, get scholarships, and share their love of music with their friends and families. I have a college degree in Jazz and Contemporary Music from the University of Maine. I have played music throughout New England and in Ireland. I have taught students from the ages of 3 to 83, and I love to help people learn about music! I have played rock, blues, pop, celtic, jazz, classical, metal, R&B, reggae, funk, soul, show tunes, folk, and bluegrass guitar on stage.

I tailor every lesson to the individual needs of every student. My students have ranged from absolute beginners who have never played any music on a guitar to advanced students who have been playing for decades and are looking for new ways to spice up their skills. I am happy to discuss technique, learning songs, improvisation, composition, music history, and guitar construction.
