About Nathalie
I have been a professional photographer since 8 years and I'm a 3rd year Psychology student at Leiden University. A good portrait photographer not only knows everything about how to handle the camera, but can also handle and communicate well with the person being photographed. Psychology is therefore an important part of the end result and that is exactly what I use in my lessons. What do you say to your model? What should you pay attention to? How do you put someone at ease? I can teach you everything about photography: from the basics to the real tricks of the trade. In sum, everything from the settings of the camera to dealing with models.

My method of teaching is an alternation of theory and practice. During the lessons we go out to put the techniques into practice immediately because by doing you learn the most! My lessons are adjusted to the level, goals and wishes of the student: what you want to learn is the most important. During the lessons you will learn how to set the camera (such as shutter speed, aperture, iso) per situation, learn everything about composition and light and learn how to handle your model. I am an enthusiastic teacher who can easily explain difficult things, who has patience and make a fun out of every lesson.

Perfect! Heb mijn eerste les gehad begin van de maand en vond het heel leerzaam en leuk. Nathalie is heel geduldig, relaxed en weet waar ze het over heeft. Ook heeft ze me goed geholpen bij het kiezen van de juiste onderdelen voor mijn foto studio.
Dinsdag weer mijn volgende les, zin in!- De eerste les met Elisa was heel erg leuk! Elisa wil graag leren en stelt veel vragen. En dat is goed, want van vragen leer je het meest. Ze pakt het snel op en is daarnaast een gezellig persoon om mee samen te werken. Kortom, een super les!Nathalie's response :

The first free lesson lasts 30 minutes and applies for a booking of at least 5 hours.
Travel costs are € 15 per hour. Costs are determined in consultation with student after evaluation of the travel time.
