About Cora
For more than 9 years, I’ve dedicated myself to teaching algebra to middle school students. With a BSc in Mathematics for Data Science, I bring both academic knowledge and practical teaching strategies. Algebraic concepts like equations and polynomials can feel overwhelming, but I break them into small, manageable steps. Puzzles and real-life examples play a big role in my lessons, making math interactive and less intimidating. I’ve taught learners with many styles, adjusting lessons so each one feels supported. Some enjoy visuals, others benefit from repeated practice, and I adapt to both. Math anxiety is common, and I work hard to create a safe, encouraging space. By connecting algebra to daily experiences, I help students see its relevance and usefulness. Confidence grows naturally when learning is enjoyable. I also teach problem-solving as a skill, not just a subject. Mistakes become opportunities for deeper understanding. With my guidance, algebra transforms from a challenge into an exciting subject. Together, we can make math a positive part of any learner’s journey.

Maths can be challenging, but my approach makes it clear and approachable. I teach learners how to manage complex equations through step-by-step methods. This strategy helps reduce anxiety and creates structure. Logical reasoning forms a big part of my teaching, guiding students to understand patterns and strategies. Critical thinking activities give them the tools to analyze problems effectively. I also bring maths to life with practical applications, such as using graphs, data, and finance examples. This helps students see its real importance. I support exam-takers and career-switchers by tailoring lessons to their needs. My feedback is always detailed and constructive, pointing learners in the right direction. Each lesson is designed to build long-term understanding. I teach for depth, not just speed. With steady practice, learners gain confidence in solving harder challenges. My aim is to make maths an enjoyable skill that empowers success.
