About Dev
Hi! I’m Dev Arora, a trained Indian classical vocalist, music producer, and mixing/mastering engineer. I’m a graduate of SACAC (Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication, Delhi), where I earned my diploma in Audio Engineering and Music Production. I currently work as a freelance multi-genre music producer, with hands-on experience in composing, arranging, recording, editing, and mixing/mastering across genres like indie, pop, electronic, fusion, and sound for film/advertising. My work bridges the gap between creativity and technical precision, drawing from both classical roots and contemporary sound. Over the past few years, I’ve collaborated with independent artists, worked on commercial audio projects, and built a strong foundation in both studio and remote production environments. I bring the mindset of a working professional into every session, and I’m passionate about helping others develop not just their technical skills—but also their artistic voice. Whether you’re a beginner or someone looking to polish your craft, I’d love to help you grow as a producer and take your sound to the next level.

As a professional music producer and mixing/mastering engineer with a diploma from SACAC (Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication, Delhi), I offer online one-on-one sessions that focus on real-world, hands-on learning. These classes are perfect for aspiring producers, artists, and engineers who want to level up their sound—whether you're a complete beginner or already producing and want to refine your skills. My Teaching Approach & Methods: I believe in teaching by doing. You won’t just be following tutorials—you’ll be working on actual projects, breaking down professional mixes, recreating industry sounds, and developing your own signature style. I tailor each session to your goals—whether it’s beat-making, recording, sound design, vocal processing, or final mastering. I also share industry workflows, file/session management, plug-in chains, and practical tips that aren't taught in typical classroom settings. We use screen sharing, real-time DAW interaction, and optional project reviews between sessions for faster progress. Typical Class Structure: Quick catch-up / Q&A (5-10 mins) Topic deep dive – theory + hands-on session (30-40 mins) Live demo / project work / feedback session (10-15 mins) Assignments / listening practice suggestions Each session ends with actionable takeaways so you're always building something meaningful. What Makes My Classes Different: I'm a working multi-genre producer actively creating and releasing music across indie, pop, electronic, and fusion scenes. You'll learn how to think like a producer, not just how to use software. I offer honest feedback and career guidance if you're planning to release music professionally or build a portfolio. You get a real-world, no-fluff approach rooted in actual studio workflows—not just academic theory. Who This Class Is For: School students (16+), college students, aspiring artists, singer-songwriters, and adults interested in music production Vocalists who want to learn self-recording and vocal processing Bedroom producers ready to take their mixes to a professional level
