About Eboni

Hello, I'm Eboni Ferguson, a Philadelphia-based published author, screenwriter, and filmmaker. I am the author of three books, including Some Real Sugar Honey Ice Tea: A Philly Jawn, which is taught at YouthBuild Philadelphia and studied at Community College of Philadelphia. I earned my bachelor's degree magna cum laude and am now an MFA candidate in Creative Writing at SNHU. As an experienced workshop leader, I create a supportive space where students feel seen, encouraged, and challenged to do their best work. I work with high school seniors on academic writing and college application essays, and I coach actors on monologues and audition preparation. My goal is simple: to help you write with clarity, confidence, and your own authentic voice.

English

Hi, I'm Eboni! I coach actors on monologues and audition preparation in warm, focused online lessons. As a produced screenwriter and filmmaker, I understand how a performance reads on camera and on stage, and I help you make clear, confident choices that feel true to you. In a typical lesson, we warm up, work through your monologue or audition piece line by line, and practice delivery, pacing, and presence. We also talk through what casting teams may be looking for and how to walk in prepared. Whether you are preparing for an audition, a class, or a performance, I will help you bring out your strongest, most authentic work.
