About Elena

I am a Romanian actor based in NYC, graduate of Stella Adler Studio of Acting and NYFA (musical theater). I have over 20+ years experience as a concert pianist and over 8 years as a vocal coach in my country. I am an actor, doing the every day work the same way I expect it from my students, and putting myself out there. I am very professional and care about the etiquette in the room (which we'll also discuss in our lessons). I have learned valuable lessons from my mentors that I'm looking forward to share with my students, creating a safe environment wherein to navigate vulnerability and the basics of humanity.

About the lesson

I love to make my lessons fun and approachable. I firmly believe that consistency makes better and I'll insist on just showing up ready to work and with an open mind. I always start with a vocal & breath warm up, then moving on to the specifics depending on the chosen class.
For example: guided physical warm-up, vocal & breath support, range, diction, work on a monologue/song, character analysis, choosing a monologue/song, auditions, etc.
My lessons are for anyone, starting from beginners to more advanced actors/singers, and very much encouraged for people that don't look to making a career out of it but would like to enrich their lives through art.

Where do I begin? My last 2 contracts I booked was because of Elena’s acting coaching skills. She coached my selftapes from scenes to songs and it was an amazing experience. She is incredibly passionate and has a very good eye for details for camera work. She’s always my go to for my auditions and when I need to brush up on my technique!
