About Blake
I’m a working actor and director with a lifelong background in performance, beginning in middle school and continuing through getting my BFA in Acting/Directing in 2019. I have extensive experience in Chicago’s storefront theater scene as both an actor and director, along with professional work in commercial, film, background acting, and modeling. In addition to my performance background, I’ve spent over two years working as a substitute teacher in Chicago Public Schools, which informs my ability to teach clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a structured, supportive environment. I bring a practical, experience-based approach to acting lessons that balances technique, creativity, and confidence onstage and on camera.

My acting lessons help students build confidence, creativity, and strong performance instincts through scene work, improvisational theater, and technique-based exercises. I work with middle school, high school, and adult students to prepare for school productions, community theater auditions, and professional auditions in theater, television, commercials, and improv. Lessons focus on storytelling, active listening, physical and vocal awareness, and practical rehearsal techniques, creating a supportive environment where students can grow their skills, take creative risks, and feel confident performing on stage or in front of the camera.
