About Kimi
I am an experienced professional artist of 20 years in developing my own artworks. I am an experienced visual arts teacher with a passion for nurturing creativity and inspiring minds. With a diverse background and extensive teaching experience, I have successfully imparted artistic skills and knowledge to children of various age groups, including older students studying up to Cert IV level in TAFE (Technical and Further Education).
I’ve completed my Bachelor’s Degree in fine arts at Federation University and also have a certificate IV In training and at The Gordon. I have taught in college classrooms for 3 years in total, but have conducted school workshops, private lessons and online tutoring for over 20 years.
I’m very knowledgeable on most mediums, and can provide instructions on developing a portfolio or planning a visual art piece for your final.

Drawing from my own artistic expertise, I introduce students to a wide range of artistic mediums, techniques, and styles. From painting and drawing to using spray paints, resin and mixed media, I provide comprehensive instruction and guidance to help students develop technical proficiency and unleash their creativity.
My experience in teaching children up to Cert IV level in TAFE demonstrates my ability to guide students through a structured curriculum, covering fundamental art principles and advanced techniques. I possess a strong understanding of the TAFE system, ensuring that my students are well-prepared for any assessments or arts finals they may encounter.
In addition to my exceptional teaching skills, I am an excellent communicator, capable of effectively engaging with both students and parents alike. I believe in fostering open lines of communication to ensure that parents are informed about their child's progress and achievements.
Whether it's teaching basic art concepts to young children or preparing older students for higher-level certifications, I am dedicated to helping people unlock their artistic potential, fostering a lifelong love for art and creative expression.
