About Delaney
I have been painting and drawing since the age of eight years old. I have studied painting and drawing in all forms for over 12 years and I studied in school for it as well. Art for me is an expression of the soul, I live and breathe art. And I think everyone should create in some way to get in touch with who they are. For me, painting is the easiest.
Along with learning, I help you fall in love with your craft as a creator so you don't give up. Whenever I create something, I always feel proud of it and it shows me just what I am capable of. When others see my work and congratulate me, there isn't a more reassuring feeling. Art inspires others and I want you to have that feeling too , that spark that puts back out into the world.

I explain painting in a easy to understand way, so easy a 5 year old can understand it. And I break things down for you step by step. Many instructors just tell you to grab a paint brush and jump to the canvas. I start from the beginning by explaining your tools, colors, how to prep the canvas, and everything in between from starting a painting to finishing it.
A typical lesson plan will include explaining your tools and paints. Which brushes you will need for what area. How to mix your paints, simple techniques to add value and layers to your painting. I will also explain the basics of drawing as it is needed for painting as well.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, understanding learning curves and how I can personalize my lessons to help you grow and improve your unique style.
My lessons are for beginners, children, anyone curious about starting the hobby of painting, or if your intermediate level and you want to improve your skills.
