About Alexander
I spent 11 years in the Air Force, much of it teaching to wide-ranging audiences numbering hundreds of individuals. I used my downtime while deployed to earn my Masters Degree in Ancient and Classical History online. Prior to that I earned my Bachelors Degree from Tulane University. In high school I thrived in AP History classes earning a score of 5 on both my European and American history exams. So as you can see my love of history spans decades which, along with my instructing experience, will make my lessons memorable and engaging.

I approach each topic in an organized, thorough manner with the ultimate goal to bring the subject to life for my students. This is especially important for history, I think, because it is so easy to reduce the subject to a string of names and dates which can put even dedicated students to sleep. My goal is instead to provide context, engage with the student and transmit the information in a way that's relevant to them and their needs.
