About Craig
Hi, I'm Craig. I started playing bass at 14 years old. I've always loved music, mostly brought up on rock, indie, funk and soul I quickly expanded my music tastes (my Spotify Playlists are so random haha) but I found that one thing would always grab my attention in any song...The Bass! Nothing beats a good bass line
After trying my hand at a number of different careers early on, I found myself drawn to pursuing music as a career and took the leap to try to become a professional bass player. I studied Bass at ACM in Guildford where I was fortunate enough to be taught by some of the most prolific bass players in the UK. Since then I have made my living from playing bass and teaching. I have a genuine passion for teaching and since moving back to the Cardiff/Valleys area last year, I'm excited to start teaching locally

Everyone has a different reason for wanting to learning an instrument. Some people want to learn with the intention of becoming professional, others simply want to learn for fun. This is why I like to tailor lessons to suit the student's goals.
I like to keep lessons interesting and fun. I had my fair share of tutors when I was learning and a good, engaging tutor can often be the reason a student decides to continue to learn rather than give up.
