About Serafina

Serafina is a central Florida based performer & dance instructor. She has traveled throughout the US & internationally, educating herself on a variety of dance heritages & cultures, while sharing her passion for dance, creativity, & performance. She is dedicated to inspiring artistic expression & establishing connections with different traditions & art forms through her style of fusion. Experience teaching at all levels, working one on one or with large crowds, as well as providing neurodiversity/disability accommodations Influences & personal instruction from: Rachel Brice, Jill Parker, Zoe Jakes, Donna Mejia, FCBD, Moria Chappell, Amy Anthony, Kami Liddle, Silvia Salamanca, Michelle Sorensen 8 Elements Phase I-III certified FCBD certified

About the lesson

-Learn basic steps, isolations, & combinations to improve technique
-Explore how movements are created in the muscle/skeletal system & how belly dance strengthens the body & boosts confidence
-Challenge mind-body connections with complex layering choreographies for advanced skill levels
-For personal practice or to workshop performance pieces & cultivate stage presence
-Solo or group instruction available
-Influences include Balkan, MENAHT, ATS, Afro-Cuban, Hip hop, & Datura styles
-All Levels Welcome

Perfect! She is clear with her instructions and very patient with beginners. It’s obvious that she’s very knowledgeable and she’s able to articulate and explain the details of the movements so that even a brand new beginner can understand.
