About Aftab Hasan

I have played professional chess for over 10 years and won multiple championship titles across district, divisional, zonal, interzonal levels.

Chess is not only my hobby but also my passion and so I am a member of many clubs and I regularly network with high rated chess players. I teach chess to individuals and groups as well as in schools.

I am a Head Coach in various schools like Don Bosco International School Mumbai and Government schools. I teach students of all ages. My chess dot com RAPID rating is 2000 and my FIDE offline rapid chess rating is 1525.

About the lesson

I have designed chess curriculum according to my experience of learning and teaching chess.

Most importantly, I focus on what are the needs of my students and how I can supplement their needs according to their goals and wishes. The course is divided levelwise into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced course. I will cover basics, openings and tactics, puzzles, middle games, and end game.

The core feature of our learning will be calculations - visualization, creation and patterns.

Finally, for me it is important that we both enjoy this process. Therefore, I will do my utmost to adapt my lessons to include what you enjoy most, be it puzzles, games or theory.

Details

The fee is 300 INR per class of 60 minutes. For longer coaching packages, please consult with me.

1 class per week for 1 month - 1200 INR
2 class per week for 1 month - 2400 INR
3 class per week for 1 month - 3600 INR
