About Uraih

Hello! I’m Uraih Patrick, a certified chess player with a current FIDE rating of 2085 and an online rating of 2400. I’m continuously working toward higher levels in chess while passionately helping others improve their game and confidence through coaching.

I strongly believe that we rise by lifting others and raising kings ♟️

With over 6 years of playing experience and 2 years of coaching practice, I specialize in teaching beginners, intermediate players, and advanced players looking to sharpen their tactical and strategic understanding. My lessons are practical, engaging, and tailored to each student’s learning style and goals.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured to help students improve steadily while enjoying the learning process. I teach players of all levels — from complete beginners learning the basics to intermediate and advanced players looking to sharpen their tactical and strategic understanding.

Lessons are personalized based on each student’s goals, strengths, and weaknesses. We’ll work on tactical patterns, positional play, opening principles, endgames, calculation, and overall decision-making during games. I also help students build confidence, patience, discipline, and tournament mindset.

My teaching style is interactive, supportive, and practical. I believe improvement comes from understanding ideas clearly rather than memorizing moves blindly. After each lesson, students leave with clearer concepts, practical exercises, and noticeable progress in their gameplay. ♟️
