About Khulile

I've been working in the content creation space for over 7 years. I started out as an intern on some film productions then I studied cinematography while freelancing and helped out with some smaller production companies.
I've worked on TV sets & BTS on films.
I've worked with YouTubers and worked at marketing agencies.
I've worked with small up-and-coming brands as well as some big-name well-established brands.

I just like making content and talking about content. So being able to help out people who are struggling or want a bit of assistance with either learning or how to go about taking their next steps in the space. I'm here.

About the lesson

You want to know about the pre-production, production and/or post-production process. I'm your person.
I have over 7 years of experience on set and remote-based work with both commercial, film, and personal projects.

Pre-production:
- I'll take you through all the documents you should know about and how to make them accessible for potential clients and yourself.
- I'll be able to help streamline your creative process where I offer you tips, tricks, and advice that's helped me land some of my bigger clients.

Production:
- I love lighting this is kind of what I put a lot of my passion into, so I'll be able to share all my experience and intricate knowledge.
- Camera work and technical skills are something that are a must in the space, I'll take you through all the basic setups as well as incorporate a lot of the theoretical concepts that are a little bit harder to grasp, allowing you to feel comfortable behind any camera.
- Project file management is a must and I can help with keeping you organized.

Post-Production:
I'm predominantly an editor these days - so I've got a wealth of knowledge you can tap into, whether that's color-grading, audio mixing, and simply cutting a timeline together.
My main editing software is Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects just because of my work.
But I also use Da Vinci Resolve to fit into people's ecosystems, as well as color-grading.
