Nina is an empathetic listener who always wants to ensure that you always understand how and why to execute certain moves. Her enthusiasm for dance is contagious and helps motivate me to keep wanting to improve.

I met Nina about 8 or so years ago, but I knew her from the community long before. She was always dancing across Chicago, then Florida, and now in North Carolina. She has always been a performer, judge, teacher, and student. I think that’s what always separated her from the rest of the teachers. Nina is always involved in all aspects of dance which gives her the unique ability to see something from everyone’s point of view. Not to mention her PTA experience helping with muscle development and injury prevention movements. That was something truly unique I have found a lot of value in. Let’s not just learn to dance but let’s ensure you can do so safely!

I highly recommend Nina for anyone; from beginner to advanced, from contemporary to hip hop to salsa, etc. Nina has a passion for dance and helping others. The enjoyment and spirit she carries is infectious to her classes and lessons. You can’t help but enjoy with a smile even if you’re struggling with the movements. Nina takes her time to help each of her students to ensure they remain positive and achieve their goals. With everything, practice makes perfect. I met Nina through work. She actually introduced me to dance! I always loved the concept of dancing but never took the initiative. Nina was my extra push to embrace it. She created an open space for me to learn and was nothing but patient and intuitive. She taught me in a way another teacher hasn’t taught me. As a beginner, I didn’t know what to expect, but she really helped me understand the movements and find my flow. I still go to her for teaching to this day. I highly recommend her!

I've known Nina her entire life and dance has been a passion of hers for the entirety of her life. She started with formal training in a dance studio at the age of 5 with tap and ballet. She continued to add more genres and styles of dance over the years. She studied a handful of different cultural styles of dance as well throughout high school and college. She taught and mentored peers in her teen years. She has taught dance classes to young children through adults. She is very attentive to individual strengths and will help one build on their strengths while also helping develop "most help needed" dance skills. Nina takes a very positive and uplifting approach with her students and is always willing to listen to individual questions.
