About Nina

Hi, I'm Nina!

Originally from Chicago, I've been dancing since the age of 7 and have spent my life exploring the power of movement, performance, and self-expression. Dance has taken me across the country and connected me with incredible communities, opportunities, and experiences that continue to shape who I am today.

I trained and performed with an award-winning hip hop and street dance company in Chicago, where I developed a strong foundation in performance, technique, musicality, and teamwork. In addition to my hip hop training, I have traveled throughout the United States performing and training at international salsa congresses, expanding my experience in Latin dance and social dance culture.

What I love most about teaching is helping others discover their own confidence through movement. I believe dance should be fun, freeing, and healing; a beautiful form of self-expression that allows us to connect with ourselves and others.

Whether your goal is to learn a new skill, prepare for a performance, improve your technique, or simply enjoy moving your body, I strive to create a welcoming and encouraging environment where you can grow at your own pace.

My mission is to help every student feel comfortable, empowered, and inspired while developing both their dance abilities and confidence on and off the dance floor.

Whether you're completely new to dance or looking to refine your technique, my goal is to create a supportive, engaging environment where you can grow with confidence.

I teach Salsa, Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Jazz dance to students of all ages and experience levels. My teaching style combines strong technical foundations with musicality, performance quality, and personal expression.

I believe dance should be enjoyable, a way to express and heal through movement. I tailor each lesson to your individual goals, learning style, and experience level.

This first lesson offered with Nina will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details

Studio rate may apply if you choose to do the class at a dance studio. To travel to your location transportation fee may apply depending on location. Cancellation policy: free of charge if canceled up until 24h before scheduled lesson time. After 24h the lesson will be charged in full. *Choreography work will be charged as a separate service for wedding dances, sweet sixteens etc.
