I’m a drum teacher with 15 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Music. My lessons focus on developing strong foundational skills. I teach coordination, timing, technique, and musical expression. Students learn through both structured exercises and song-based activities. I work with beginners, intermediates, and advancing players. My teaching style is approachable and motivating. I adapt each lesson to fit the student’s goals. Practice plans are clear and manageable. Lessons cover timing, stick technique, hand independence, groove, dynamics, rhythm reading, and musical awareness, gradually increasing in complexity as students progress. I incorporate play-along tracks, exercises, song practice, and improvisation to make learning practical and enjoyable. Students receive guidance on practice routines, goal setting, and tracking progress to ensure steady improvement. My teaching environment is positive, patient, and supportive, giving learners the confidence to take risks and explore their musical creativity. Lessons emphasize listening skills, rhythm comprehension, and applying techniques in real-world situations, including ensemble play.
I celebrate achievements at every stage to maintain motivation and encourage continuous growth. Students gradually develop technical ability, musical expression, coordination, and independence.
