About Gaspar

I’ve been playing drums for over 25 years and working professionally for the past 20. I hold a First Class degree in Jazz and have performed in a wide range of musical styles. My career has taken me around the world on international tours, and I now work from my own fully equipped studio, where I continue to record and collaborate with artists across genres.

About the lesson

I’m comfortable teaching everyone from complete beginners to advanced players, and I tailor my approach to suit each student’s needs and learning style. Some students prefer a relaxed pace with space to explore and work things out, while others thrive with a more structured approach — I’m happy to adapt accordingly. I use a range of my own worksheets and examples to support lessons, and while I place strong emphasis on developing music reading skills, I also draw on a variety of other methods. Above all, I focus on training the ear — one of the most important tools for any musician.
