About Matthew
I have helped countless drummers, singers, guitarists, et al. learn how to approach their instruments, as well as helping them learn how to approach and build a career in music. It is not easy. It takes dedication, commitment, and endless work. I am here to help guide you through it, with a real-world approach to learning music.

I teach by developing a three-tier exercise system, that is tailored to the student's needs, abilities, aptitude, and desire to learn. The tiers are as follows:
1) Learning to read and play rudiments, exercises, and written pieces.
2) Learning to listen to, chart, and play recorded music.
3) Learning to apply what has been learned to the student's own creative ideas. EG: conceiving, writing, and working out parts for the drum set.
