About Opal
My academic background in economics and extensive tutoring experience have allowed me to simplify complex theories for diverse learners. I find joy in showing students how economics affects everyday life and shapes the world we live in. Over eight years of teaching economics, I’ve helped students bridge the gap between theory and real-world financial systems. My lessons cover everything from demand and supply to international trade and fiscal policies, tailored to suit both beginners and advanced learners.
Each session incorporates practical examples and case studies, ensuring students can see how economic principles apply to markets, households, and governments. I place a strong emphasis on analytical reasoning and understanding cause-and-effect relationships within economic models.
Students are encouraged to think critically, develop arguments, and interpret data through interactive discussions. Topics such as inflation, GDP growth, and monetary policy are explored using current examples to deepen comprehension.
