About Orfeas

I hold a Masters Degree in Electroacoustic Composition from the Ionian University (Greece). I have created hundreds of tracks and taught 100+ students. I also have many years of experience DJing live events. I have studied music theory, music history, orchestration, sound egnineering and soundtrack production. Coming from a family of musicians and son to the Maestro of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Athens, I am highly qualified to teach you anything related to electronic music production, music theory, mix & mastering, operating a home studio and finishing tracks.

About the lesson

Lessons are through Discord (for calls), and RustDesk for remote control. This way we can work on your project together. Through SonoBus we can hear each other's DAW with low-latency, uncompressed audio. My DAW of choice is Ableton.

If you have your own projects I'm happy to work with you on them.

To help new students navigate music production with less friction I developed my own system. I call it "The Collage Method". Through the use of loops you start by immediately making your own track. No waiting for 2 years of learning concepts before you get to be creative. Arrangements and track completion are tackled from the beginning. Do you love bass? Let's do bass synthesis. Do you love melodies? Let's learn how to make catchy melodies! Student excitement is at the core of my approach.

Perfect! It has just been a couple of lessons, but I can already see that Orfeas really knows his stuff and is a pleasure to work with. I didn’t have the wherewithal to go through the difficult process of learning everything on my own, so learning with someone as knowledgeable and professional as he is, will definitely get me to a level of expertise I could’ve only dreamed of.
