About Frances
I have a vast range of experience in the art and design department, going back 30 years. I am a professional graphic designer, and photographer, with a degree in Visual Communications. I am a wiz in Photoshop, and love art and design of all styles. I do not work as much in the physical mediums as I used to, but I have a talent for illustration. Although many of my abilities have come naturally I have been told I am an excellent teacher. I have a way of empathizing and explaining difficult concepts to those who just need that something to make it all click. I want to support and encourage others in the often discouraging arena of art and design. The pursuit is worth it, and I can help!

I love tutoring all ages groups and knowledge levels. The aim is always to greatly improve my students abilities, and tutoring is student driven. I am results oriented, so there will be goals set with supported actions assigned. Workflow is determined by ability goals and standards so that no time is wasted on fundamentals already achieved. Learning something new is fun, and it's more fun when growth is visibly happening :)
