Holding a First-Class Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering and currently pursuing an MSc in Renewable Energy from Cranfield University, I possess a profound grasp of these subjects, further honed by professional experience in data analysis and complex problem-solving. My teaching methodology, designed for clarity and engagement, ensures every student receives tailored support, emphasising learning from mistakes and building strong exam techniques. I am committed to delivering professional, high-quality tuition for secondary school students (Key Stage 3, GCSE, A-Level) aiming to excel or build a strong STEM foundation, and also offer comprehensive support to undergraduate students in foundational mathematics and physics.

About the lesson

TEACHING TECHNIQUE My tutoring philosophy for Maths, Further Maths, and Physics focuses on building a strong understanding of core concepts and applying them through problem-solving, fostering confidence and critical thinking. My teaching methodology involves breaking down complex topics, encouraging active learning with guided practice, and tailoring strategies to individual learning styles. I emphasise learning from mistakes through error analysis and provide continuous feedback. For exam preparation, I focus on effective revision and tackling exam-style questions, always aiming to build student confidence. Typical lessons are 60 minutes, with an option for 90-minute sessions. QUALIFICATION While developing formal tutoring experience, my strong academic background, including a First-Class Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering and current MSc studies, provides a deep understanding of these subjects. My professional experience in data analysis and problem-solving further enhances my ability to explain complex concepts clearly. WHO MY LESSONS ARE FOR My lessons are primarily for secondary school students (Key Stage 3, GCSE, A-Level) aiming to improve their understanding or build a strong STEM foundation, and I also support undergraduate students with foundational mathematics and physics.
