About Tessa

I am an English tutor with 6 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in English Language Teaching. About the lesson

My English lessons are practical, engaging, and immediately applicable from the first session. Every lesson begins with a warm-up conversation exercise to build speaking confidence and reveal specific areas to develop. Grammar is always taught in context through real-world dialogues and meaningful sentences rather than abstract rules. Pronunciation and intonation work is integrated throughout every lesson using phonemic drills and natural audio comparison. IELTS and TOEFL students receive systematic preparation across all four skills with regular timed practice and detailed exam technique feedback. Business English students develop professional email writing, presentation language, meeting vocabulary, and industry-specific communication skills. Extensive role-play practice simulates real conversations students encounter in professional and personal life. Listening comprehension develops through authentic podcasts, broadcasts, and dialogue recordings. I provide vocabulary exercises and encourage students to maintain a word journal between lessons.
