Hello! My name is Maya Parkins, and I am an experienced communications and marketing professional with a Master’s degree in Intercultural & International Communications from American University. I specialize in helping ESL learners improve their English speaking, writing, reading comprehension, pronunciation, vocabulary, and professional communication skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
I have previous experience tutoring students in English, as well as mentoring youth through after-school enrichment programs focused on academic growth, confidence-building, and communication development. My background in communications and marketing has strengthened my ability to teach effective language usage, storytelling, presentation skills, and real-world conversational English.
