About Kalvin
I enjoy helping students discover how rewarding learning music can be. As a flute tutor with 10 years of experience, I teach school and college students using simple, engaging, and well-organized lessons.
Students begin by learning breathing techniques, posture, finger movement, rhythm, scales, articulation, and tone production before progressing to expressive performance.
I believe every learner deserves encouragement and personal attention to achieve success. Seeing students develop confidence and enjoy performing continues to motivate me every day.
Besides flute, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm exercises, beginner composition, and music appreciation. My mission is to inspire students to continue learning and enjoying music throughout their lives.

Learning music should be enjoyable as well as educational. My flute lessons are designed around Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. Every lesson focuses on building confidence while developing strong musical skills.
I create personalized lesson plans after understanding each student's level and learning goals. Students gradually master breathing techniques, posture, finger coordination, note reading, rhythm, scales, tone quality, and expressive playing. Advanced learners also work on articulation, ornamentation, improvisation, and stage performance.
I motivate students through encouragement, positive feedback, and achievable practice goals. My communication style is simple, clear, and interactive, allowing students to ask questions without hesitation. I maintain honesty, punctuality, patience, and fairness in every lesson.
Creative activities such as duet playing, musical games, rhythm challenges, ear training, and learning favorite songs keep lessons interesting. Along with flute, I teach music theory, keyboard basics, recorder, sight reading, rhythm practice, and music appreciation to develop complete musicians.
