I am a passionate and energetic teacher, it is my job to get you excited about music! I want all my students to enjoy our time together and get the results you want. I have a strong background in education, having taught public school band and earned a degree in Instrumental Music Education. I have also won competitions hosted by the National Flute Association and the Midsouth Flute Association. In addition to being a classically trained flute player, I have a passion for new music and extended techniques, and also specialize in low flutes (I have my own bass flute). I can teach you anything from putting the flute together, to making All State band, to auditioning for college! All experience levels are welcome, and I'm excited to meet you where you are!
